Articles Of Faith
Art. 1. We believe in one true and living God-Father and Son and Holy Ghost equal in essence, power, and glory.
1Jo 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

1Jo 5:5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
Art. 3. We believe that by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation, even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life, by which the grace of God became equally accessible to all men.
Rom 5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
Art. 4. We believe that sinners are justified by the grace of God, received through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Rom 5:2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
Art. 5. We believe in the resurrection of the dead, both of the just and the unjust, and that the happiness of the righteous, and the punishment of the wicked will be eternal.
Joh 5:28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
Joh 5:29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.
Art. 6. We believe that the church of God is composed of those who have been partakers of the Holy Ghost, and tasted of the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come.
Joh 6:53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
Joh 6:54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
Art. 7. We believe that we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous, and that He is the propitiation for our sins, and not ours only, but for the sins of the whole world.
1Jo 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
1Jo 2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
Art. 8. We believe that only those who have received remission of sins are fit subjects for Baptism, and that total immersion in water is the only mode.
Act 8:38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.
Art. 9. We believe that the Lord’s supper and the washing of the Saint’s feet are ordinances of the Lord and shall be observed by the Church until the Second Coming of Christ.
Joh 13:14 If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.
Joh 13:15 For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.

Art. 11. We believe there is but one true Church, and that every member thereof is an heir of God and joint heir with Christ; and not one member of his Church shall ever perish.
Rom 8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
Rom 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Rom 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
